Except for the Eldon Dragster Slicks, Marx Indy Car, Revell Dune Buggy Tires and 1:24 scale tires, all tires are $3.85 per pair, 3 pairs for $11.50 of 4 pairs or more for $3.60 per pair. Add shipping and handling for your zone USPS First Class to the U.S. for the first 4 pairs. Add to the posted S&H for your zone, 10 cents for each additional pair beyond 4 pairs up to 19. 20 pairs or $70 in sales or more, will be sent Priority Mail for $11.35. Priority is necessary for larger sales because of the unreliability of USPS. By using Priority, we can recoup $50 in insurance for lost sales. Sales of $100 or more will require additional insurance. I will provide a quote.

Eldon "Plus" Tire

A classic Eldon tire that is a little taller and wider than the nominally 7/8" x 1/4" tire (EHSN). It has "ELDON" Side Wall Detail.

Tire size is 0.87" O.D., 0.29" W. and fits the 1/4" wide Eldon "5 Spoke" home set wheels and is often found on the front of Eldon's open wheel cars. Part "EHSP"

Nominally 1" O.D., 1/4" W. for Eldon ribbed plastic spoked wheels. Diamond tread and "Eldon - 7.50 X 15" sidewall detail, Part "EHSN1".

The urethane compound is softer than the original natural rubber tire, so, although not necessary, you may want to glue these tires to the wheels.

Be advised, these tires are not reproductions of the original AC Gilbert Sulky tire but are a suitable replacement with the proper size and fit. Since the tire is made of a softer material than the natural rubber tires, I recommend that the tires are glued to the wheels.

Revell Classic Home Set Tires

Revell "Home Set" Classic Tires for the black plastic chassis and some aluminum chassis with plastic wheels.

Part ID "RHSN" (Revell Home Set Narrow) - These tires unmounted measurement is approximately 0.88" OD and 0.25" Wide.

Notice: Although these tires will fit many of the 5:40 threaded classic wheels, they are a little taller because they are made taller to clear the early larger diameter Mabuchi 15R can motors. These tires do not fit the Revell "Americana" Race sets. See tire "CTN01" for Revell Americana cars and Revell cars with the aluminum "ladder chassis". Be sure to measure the wheels and tires before ordering.
